2011 Conference
Around 450 participants from 40 countries (the Attendee list is available here.) have participated in the conference organized with the support of PARADISO at the European Commission in Brussels from 7 to 9, 2011, on the theme “Internet and societies: new innovation paths”. The event was supported by several leading institutions and included the 2nd edition of the “PARADISO international conference” (on Sept. 7-8) during which PARADISO recommendations to the European Commission regarding research topics to be addressed in future EU-funded programmes were presented. It also included (on Sept. 9) the 1st “Dialogue on Platforms for collective awareness and action”, a one-day workshop to contribute identifying related multidisciplinary research priorities for the last Call of FP7 and for “FP8″ (Horizon 2020).
Below is the event agenda from which presentations made at the event can be accessed (in the form of pdf and/or video files). Some missing presentations and most video files will be added soon. An overall event report can be donwloaded here. Please note that the detailed report on the workshop of Sept. 9 on Platforms for collective awareness and action is available through the European Commission’s portal devoted to this topic.
